The following set of documents comprises the fourth set from the TankThink data leak. It is the fourth of five detailing the candidates.
SHARON MOON INTERVIEW LOG #1
DATE: December 13, 2024
INTERVIEWER: [REDACTED]
LOCATION: S
CLASSIFICATION: CONFIDENTIAL
[RECORDING START]
[Room S resembles a well-appointed smoking lounge with leather chairs, dark wood paneling, and ambient lighting. MOON is not restrained, standing at a small bar cart mixing a drink. A tablet sits on a nearby table with multiple windows open.]
INTERVIEWER: [entering] How do you think you did?
SHARON: [not looking up] I think I nailed it.
INTERVIEWER: No decisions have been made yet.
SHARON: [pauses, turns around with drink] I’ll take that as a good sign.
INTERVIEWER: [sitting] Right. How are you finding your cover identity? Northwestern’s psychology department must be stimulating.
SHARON: A 29-year-old washed-up entrepreneur with a failed BloodShark appearance pretending to care about academic research? It's stifling. I’ve been doing piddly work.
INTERVIEWER: Did you volunteer for this operation?
SHARON: [pause] I did. I want to move up. I want this—this stupid detour to end. This stupid life in a little daycare for rich kids and midwits. I am operating at a different level!
INTERVIEWER: [leaning forward] You are owed a promotion?
SHARON: Have you ever looked at my operational records?
INTERVIEWER: I am familiar with them.
SHARON: I ran those four kids today.
INTERVIEWER: They recognized you from Bloodshark almost immediately. Did that affect things?
BLOODSHARK EPISODE 79, FILMED 2/17/21 - TRANSCRIPT PART 1
[OPENING SEQUENCE: Rapid-fire montage of crumbling cities, holographic advertisements, and drone footage of luxury compounds rising above smog. The BLOODSHARK logo appears, rendered in orange with knife-like teeth.]
ANNOUNCER (V.O.): The world is burning. But for those with vision, chaos is just another word for opportunity. Welcome to BLOODSHARK, where tomorrow's most disruptive innovations face the coldest judgment. Streaming exclusively on CruzzBunch+.
[Fade in to a sleek studio. Four JUDGES sit on elevated platforms, their chairs made of transparent materials that pulse with subtle light. The stage below is stark white with holographic data visualizations swirling on the floor. The panel consists of VIKTOR KRAUSS, DELILAH ZHAO, REZA KADHIM, and ATHENA BLACKWOOD.]
[A woman in a severe magenta suit walks onto the stage. SHARON MOON, 30s, moves with practiced confidence. Behind her, holographic projections display brain scans and homeless encampments.]
SHARON MOON: [Addressing the panel] Good evening, Bloodsharks. My name is Sharon Moon, and I'm here to present Moonshot. [Pauses] What if I told you the single most wasted resource in our broken economy wasn't rare earth metals or fresh water, but human potential?
DELILAH: [Already looking bored] You wouldn't be the first.
SHARON: But I might be the first with the technology to actually harvest it. At Moonshot, we've developed a comprehensive system to transform America's homeless population into humanity's greatest asset: cognitive superhumans.
[Holographic display shifts to show brain transformation sequences and genetic modification visualizations]
SHARON: The homeless represent our greatest market inefficiency. Latent talent wasted on survival. At Moonshot, we provide a complete renovation: genetic therapies that enhance neural plasticity, pharmaceutical interventions that dramatically increase cognitive function, and educational protocols designed specifically for the post-human mind.
REZA: [Leaning forward, interested] And what do you get in return?
SHARON: [Smiling] A fair exchange. In return for this comprehensive transformation, participants sign a contract granting Moonshot 80% equity in any venture they subsequently create, plus rights to any income they generate above cost-of-living plus 20%.
ATHENA: [Raising an eyebrow] You're turning human beings into portfolio companies.
SHARON: I'm turning wasted potential into a startup superincubator. We literally rearchitect these individuals at a fundamental level, transforming them into usable human capital. It's only fair we capture a proportion of the value they create—value that would never exist without our substantial technical investment.
SHARON MOON INTERVIEW LOG #2
DATE: December 13, 2024
INTERVIEWER: [REDACTED]
LOCATION: S
CLASSIFICATION: CONFIDENTIAL
INTERVIEWER: Let's discuss your performance under cover. Shapiro has called for a review of your candidacy. The committee meets in January.
SHARON: Since when do I work for them?
INTERVIEWER: Have you considered that your cover is part of our operations?
SHARON: Then you fix it. What the fuck about this bag and grab nightmare in Hyde Park makes it so you can’t do it in Evanston?
INTERVIEWER: Not really my department.
SHARON: My current research on applying Kagan's Constructive Developmental Framework has been revolutionary. After Bloodshark I completely revamped my approach. No more crude pharmaceutical interventions—targeted psychological pressure is far more effective for cognitive advancement.
INTERVIEWER: I’ll repeat myself, the committee meets in January. You should be advised.
EMAIL EXCHANGE, NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY PSYCH FACULTY
FROM: dr.shapiro@northwestern.edu
TO: psychology.chair@northwestern.edu, graduate.dean@northwestern.edu, academic.ethics@northwestern.edu
SUBJECT: URGENT: Sharon Moon - Immediate Action Required
DATE: December 10, 2024
Dean Woodward, Chair Patel, and Ethics Committee,
I'm writing to formally request immediate suspension of PhD candidate Sharon Moon's enrollment and assistantship funding, pending full investigation into what I believe constitutes serious academic misconduct.
Following our preliminary discussion last month, I've gathered substantial evidence that Ms. Moon has been systematically deceiving the department:
Teaching Assistantship Fraud: Over the past semester, Ms. Moon has been physically present for only 40% of her scheduled teaching hours.
Unauthorized Human Experimentation: A former research participant has come forward alleging Ms. Moon conducted "psychological experiments" on them without IRB approval, offering bizarre details.
Identity Verification Issues: During her oral qualifying examination, Professor Johnson and I both experienced disorienting moments where we questioned whether the person answering questions was actually Ms. Moon. While this sounds implausible, the consistency of this experience across multiple faculty is disturbing.
Given the severity of these concerns and potential risks to research subjects, I believe immediate suspension is warranted while a full investigation proceeds.
Respectfully,
Daniel Shapiro, Ph.D. Professor of Psychology Northwestern University
SHARON MOON INTERVIEW LOG #3
DATE: December 13, 2024
INTERVIEWER: [REDACTED]
LOCATION: S
CLASSIFICATION: CONFIDENTIAL
INTERVIEWER: What was your brief in this exercise, as you understood it?
SHARON: To be Joel’s hands, basically, the woman on the inside. And to give it my best shot to win.
INTERVIEWER: How long have you wanted to work for TankThink?
SHARON: [direct] Since Nakamura grabbed me in the green room. Since he told me about it.
INTERVIEWER: How did you pursue the brief? Just walk me through your process.
SHARON: [leaning forward] My goal was to get control of their process and become a deciding factor in how we designed and implemented strategy. I wasn't competing with the others—I was systematically observing them and adapting my approach accordingly.
INTERVIEWER: How did you adapt your approach?
SHARON: None of them were particularly weak-minded. Sophisticated, self-authoring minds. But Jacky wants a confidante who isn’t her mother, Mariam wants her old lover back, Devin has never had attention from a woman before and Lorenz hasn’t had anyone say something he would call genuinely interested in his art.
INTERVIEWER: These insights gave you what advantage?
SHARON: [smiling slightly] It let me talk with them privately and reveal something about myself besides that stupid show. They knew me as a meme, revealing I had a soul made me likable. I could and did win their trust.
INTERVIEWER: Interesting. [pause] Why should TankThink promote you from Orange Carbyne?
SHARON: [intense] Because I don't just execute operations—I architect consciousness. I killed FTX. I became Priya, I took control of SBF’s heart and soul, and I made him destroy himself. Nakamura made a half-assed brief, it might as well have been written with crayon. I did that job. Me.
